Countdown Timer

Count down to a target date and time with live updates. Includes quick presets, validation, and optional business-days-left estimate (Mon–Fri).

The countdown uses your device’s local timezone. If you leave time empty, it defaults to 00:00:00.

Set a target date and time, then press Start.

How it works

Examples

  • Set target to a meeting time → live countdown for preparation
  • Use +1 hour / +1 day presets for quick timers
  • Enable business-days-left to estimate weekdays remaining (holidays not included)

FAQ

  • Does this countdown use my timezone?

Yes. The target date/time is interpreted in your device’s local timezone and the countdown updates in real time.

  • What is the difference between “time remaining” and “calendar breakdown”?

Time remaining is a pure duration (days/hours/minutes/seconds). Calendar breakdown estimates remaining calendar days and time based on the local clock; it’s best used as a friendly display rather than a legal/contractual measure.

  • What happens when the countdown reaches zero?

The timer stops at zero and shows “Complete.” You can reset or set a new target.

  • Can I count down by business days only?

This page can show an estimated business-days-left count (Mon–Fri). It does not account for country-specific holidays.

  • Is any data stored?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser. Inputs are not stored or transmitted.
